Check this out. It is imperative that we have a strong immune system in order to have a healthy body. The best way to achieve this is through regular chiropractic care.
Chiropractic removes vertebral subluxations so that the central nervous system can communicate with the immune system and the immune system can communicate with the central nervous system without any interference. This will dramatically strengthen your immune system.
Here is a great video with a quick explanation regarding the flu and Chiropractic care.

Most people have heard of some of the health benefits that vitamin C can offer such as warding off the common cold and preventing scurvy, however vitamin C does much more.
Did you know that vitamin C along with the amino acids L-proline and L-Lysine will literally reverse or stop cardiovascular disease?
The information I will give you today is backed by research and has been researched and promoted by Dr. Matthias Rath who continued Nobel Prize winner Linus Pauling’s work. Dr. Rath is the author of two books on cardiovascular disease entitled Eradicating Heart Disease and Why Animals Don’t Get Heart Attacks.
Cardiovascular disease is a serious problem and a major contributor to death throughout the world. The statistics on cardiovascular disease in this country is staggering. 1 out of 3 patients die before they receive proper medical attention from heart attacks. According to WHO (World Health Organization) 1/2 of all deaths in the world are from cardiovascular disease. That means 50% of all people you know will die from some sort of cardiovascular related disease. 1 of 10 people by the age of 25 have 50% of their artery walls clogged with severe atherosclerosis (fatty build up in the blood vessel wall). These are just a few sobering statistics for human beings.
By the same token animals don’t have the cardiovascular problems. The primary reason animals don’t develop cardiovascular disease is animals produce their own vitamin C and humans do not.
A grizzly bear hibernates with massive levels of fat in their system that would cause a heart attack or stroke in a human. If a high fat diet alone would cause cardiovascular disease than bears would be extinct because they would all die of strokes and heart attacks during hibernation. Why do they not die? The answer….they make their own vitamin C.
Vitamin C is responsible for the integrity of blood vessel walls so that our blood vessels are not leaky. It prevents bruising, decreases or eliminates allergies, slows aging, stimulates your immune system, increases the absorption of iron, reduces LDL and increases HDL, speeds wound healing, reduces edema and a treats a host of ailments and diseases such as AIDS, cancer and scurvy. This is a small list of various problems that vitamin C can treat.
The biggest contributing factor to cardiovascular disease is not cholesterol (which is the most common misconception) but rather a fat named lipoprotein- a. It is a fat that sticks to the inside of the artery walls and forms atherosclerosis. Vitamin C along with the amino acids L-Lysine and L-Proline attach to the lipoprotein-a and renders it less sticky. When lipoprotein-a is prevented from sticking to the inside of the arterial wall, no fatty plaques build up on the inside of the of arteries. If there is no fatty build up on the inside of arteries there is no atherosclerosis and thus no cardiovascular disease.
